Stables has been meticulously designed to harmonise
with the age and ambience of Hever, and this blend of old and new
is both comfortable and stylish. A simple décor, soft leather-padded
chairs and subtle lighting, make for a friendly and relaxing atmosphere
that is perfect at anytime of day.
Its prices are attractive, especially when you consider that all meals
are freshly cooked to order. Our head chef uses local produce whenever
possible and has created a menu that is the best described as traditionally
English, but with an international twist. Stables is open from morning
to night, so you could start with English breakfast, try a bar snack
at lunchtime, then indulge in a fine dinner such as roast cutlets
of English lamb, steak, chicken or fish. There are vegetarian dishes
on the menu as well, of course. With a two-course table d´hôte
menu currently available for under ten pounds per person.
A takeaway menu is available should you wish to dine in your apartment.
